New Kyiv Square
Project Type: Public Infrastructure /Artistic Intervention
The project proposes the creation of a memorial of profound symbolic significance as part of the future redevelopment of Kyiv Square, whilst fully respecting the design already approved and funded by the Regional Government and Santiago City Council. Its aim is to pay tribute to the history, culture and resilience of the Ukrainian people, with a particular focus on the consequences of the war currently affecting their country.

This new space aims to become a place of gathering, remembrance and hope for the Ukrainian community. To make it possible, each one of the structures coonforming the project may be sponsored by individuals or organisations committed to this initiative, whose contributions will help fund their design, manufacture and installation..
The project will be led by Thought Group Chile with the support and coordination of the Ukrainian Embassy in Chile.
This project will be managed by a foundation comprising Ukrainians living in Chile, and will benefit from the tax incentives provided by the new Law on Artistic and Cultural Donations.
WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT TO MAKE THIS A REALITY!
